I am an organized person by nature. I think that's why I enjoy baking so much. On a certain level it requires a blueprint and technique. There is some wiggle room, but not too much.

I have great plans for this site, but I know it's best to start small. Here are some avenues I may take with this new opportunity. Feel free to jump in and let me know if you have any feedback or suggestions. I like engagement with my audience.

• Showcase guest bakers and their masterpieces

• Maybe a quarterly podcast with the highlights of what's new in baking from the islands (Hawaiʻi).

• Discussion of TV series/movies/books featuring bakers or bakeries

• A feature on useful baking tools of the trade

• Weekly recipies

• Reviews of cookbooks/apps/websites

So this is the plan. And I hope it's not too ambitious. Most of all, I hope to have fun with it and see where this baking journey takes me.
